Mudei do Ubuntu 20.04 para o 24.04. Agora o relógio mostra a hora errada (3 horas adiantado). Quando abri as configurações do sistema para consertar isso, o programa trava quando clico em "Data e hora". Alguém pode me ajudar?

Estou tentando solucionar uma regra de firewall que está causando a queda de pacotes.

Até onde eu sei, esse pacote deve estar disponível e o acima é inesperado. Devo ter feito algo para bagunçar minha máquina, mas não tenho certeza do que. Qualquer ajuda é bem-vinda.

Estou usando muito a função onde posso alternar entre janelas do mesmo aplicativo, navegador de arquivos instantaneamente. Normalmente é ALT+½ (sempre é depois de uma reinicialização), mas isso simplesmente desapareceu de repente, e não quero reiniciar no momento.

Quando abro uma imagem em qualquer um dos três editores de imagem, a imagem é "cortada".

Meu navegador e meu telefone Android mostram isso corretamente.

Como posso consertar isso?

LOGITECH G915 (teclado TKL)

Então, a história é mais ou menos assim: eu estava ajustando a configuração do teclado através de programas "especiais", não o gnome, como o autokey e outros, e agora as teclas de função não estão mais funcionando...

• Estou tentando redefinir a configuração do teclado, o layout, tudo...

• Eu já tentei dconf reset -f /org/gnomeedpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

Agora, a única solução alternativa que tenho para fazer as teclas FN funcionarem novamente é esta:

1. faça login em um segundo usuário (criado antes e intocado, usuário não utilizado) que ainda tenha as teclas FN em execução,
2. Sair,
3. voltar para meu usuário.

Pronto, isso é o "truque" para fazê-los funcionar novamente...

• Eu executei xev, evteste showkey, as teclas FN nunca são detectadas, a menos que eu faça a "solução alternativa", após o que elas são detectadas novamente nos 3 programas.

• Já desinstalei alguns daemons e programas que precisei para personalizar um segundo teclado (keypad)...

• Comparei os daemons em execução em ambos os usuários com service --status-all, e systemctl | grep "running"apenas no caso de haver algum daemon modificando as coisas... mas antes e depois da solução alternativa: os processos do sistema são os mesmos

• Eu inspecionei minha ~/.configpasta e ela não difere do 2º usuário

• Também atualizei de Ubuntu 20.xpara Ubuntu 22.04.5para sem sucesso.

Pistas:

• Pode ser algo no meu usuário?, e não consigo descartá-lo,
• Pode estar relacionado ao servidor X? O gnome não parece estar mantendo a configuração ruim após a troca de usuários
• Após a reinicialização, se eu fizer login como segundo usuário, as teclas FN funcionam bem e continuam funcionando quando alterno para meu primeiro usuário... ENTÃO é apenas um defeito de configuração do meu primeiro usuário...

Tenho apenas 1 teclado: Logitek G915 TKL, ao configurar pela linha de comando, seleciono o único teclado mais próximo na lista:Logitech G15 extra keys via G15 daemon

Gostaria de saber se posso instalar e usar legalmente o metapacote Ubuntu Restricted Codecs nos Estados Unidos? Como posso acessar esses codecs proprietários de graça?

Recentemente troquei meu Lenovo thinkpad X1 yoga 4ª geração para o Ubuntu 24. Uso esse computador para trabalhar e não consigo imprimir na impressora principal do escritório desde que fiz a troca. Temos duas impressoras no escritório e consigo imprimir na Canon MF 1643i II do consultório médico, mas não na Canon IR AdvanceDX C3835i. ​​Consigo ver as duas impressoras na minha lista de impressoras nas configurações, mas só consigo imprimir na Canon MF.

Eu instalei o cups e verifiquei se ele está em execução, o que é verdade. Eu abri a interface gráfica do cups em localhost:361 e tentei fazer login usando meu nome e senha para minha máquina, mas não funcionou. Agora, quando tento, a página de administração não me pede credenciais e simplesmente diz não autorizado. Espero ajuda para recuperar o acesso à página de administração do cups ou uma solução alternativa para adicionar a impressora sem a necessidade da interface gráfica.
