NFS + NIS 是 Linux 网络实现通用登录和主目录的现代良好实践吗?

我正在建立一个由 Centos 服务器组成的小型网络(少于 10 个),我希望在所有这些服务器上都有共同的登录名以及网络映射的主目录。

我以前经常使用 Solaris,我使用的设置是 NIS 和 NFS。NIS 可在任何地方获取通用登录名,NFS 可用于网络映射主目录。

这是建立新 Linux 网络的最佳方式还是有更好的选择?

我不能肯定地说这个网络上永远不会有 Windows 服务器,但它可能会保持纯 Linux。易于设置/使用是我最关心的问题。它是一个易于使用的开发环境。

我需要在服务器上配置 sendmail 以发送“From”“[email protected]”。

我已启用该行:

MASQUERADE_AS(`mydomain.com')dnl

和

FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)dnl

除了这两行之外,我认为我没有更改默认配置的任何内容。

当然,当我完成配置文件后,我会去 /etc/mail 并运行“make”、“make restart”。

我有一个 linux 服务器,我想用它来在公司的用户之间共享文件。用户将使用 sftp 或安全 shell 访问机器。

我希望员工组中的所有用户都能够创建、修改、删除共享文件夹中的任何文件和/或目录。我根本不希望其他任何人访问该文件夹。

我有:

  1. 通过修改 /etc/group 并运行 grpconv 更新 /etc/gshadow 将用户添加到人员组

  2. 运行 chown -R userA.staff /home/shared

  3. 运行 chmod -R 2775 /home/shared

现在,staff 组中的用户可以创建新文件,但不允许打开目录中的现有文件进行编辑。我怀疑这是由于与每个用户关联的主要组 id 仍然设置为创建用户时创建的组。因此,用户“userA”的 PGID 为“userA”。

如果我能提供帮助,我宁愿不将主要用户组更改为“员工”,但如果这是最简单的选择,我会考虑。

而且,一个主题的变体,我想对另一个目录做同样的事情,但也允许 apache 用户读取目录中的文件并为它们提供服务。

Centos 5.3 tar 和 rpm 总是给出分段错误 - 你能从 strace 中看出原因吗?

(更新:今天,tar 在没有段错误的情况下工作,系统上没有已知的更改。“rm”命令现在是段错误。啊!也许这是由 ESXi 引起的?或者,也许是硬件。)

我有一个在 VMWare ESXi 上运行的 Centos 5.3 系统。它已经运行了一段时间,没有太大问题。然而,最近,我注意到 tar 命令和 rpm 命令在我运行它们时会出现分段错误。
