Eu tenho um disco rígido (Western Digital) com contagem de erros ATA aumentada, pesquisei em diferentes postagens em diferentes fóruns, alguns deles afirmam que o HDD é uma porcaria, outros dizem que a conexão (cabo SATA) está com problemas.
Os testes inteligentes em si não mostraram problemas - os valores brutos são (tanto quanto posso dizer) bons.
Alguma ideia? Também não tenho certeza do que um pior valor de 253 em "Offline_uncorrictable" e Multi_Zone_Error_Rate pode significar. Como o valor bruto é 0, não deve haver setores defeituosos.

Minha solução foi executar um teste estendido com
Como o SMART é somente leitura, os badblocks parecem ser melhores para testes estendidos, pois também grava dados - consulte https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/badblocks#Comparisons_with_Other_Programs
Isso lê o conteúdo do setor, grava o padrão 0, verifica o padrão 0 e grava o conteúdo antigo do setor. (modo não destrutivo) Após a conclusão de todo o disco, ele faz o mesmo para o padrão 95 e assim por diante.
Portanto, são feitas 4 gravações completas do disco, durando 4 dias para 2 TB!
Com um novo cabo SATA, não há alterações na contagem de erros ATA, então usarei este disco. O cabo parece estar quebrado.
Por falar nisso. 253 em "Offline_uncorrictable" é um bom valor, não faço ideia de por que o valor é menor que o pior valor, deve ser pelo menos o mesmo, talvez algum tipo de apresentação incorreta de dados.
