无法通过 USB-C 连接显示器

我正在尝试使用用于我的 Macbook Pro 的相同 USB-C 电缆连接同一台显示器 (LG)。我的 Ubuntu 机器是戴尔 Precision，每次只能工作 1 或 2 秒，然后显示器和 PC 屏幕都会变黑，直到我拔下电缆。我如何解决它？

更新：重新启动，现在不再闪烁，但显示器的屏幕仍然无法使用；我可以在外部屏幕的边缘看到鼠标指针，但不能再移动，也不能在上面拖动任何窗口；系统设置也无奈
