服务器冻结后解释 /var/log/messages 输出

我的服务器冻结了。我重启了,手动运行fsck后,服务正常重启了。我在故障发生时分析 /var/log/messages,我发现了这些条目:

    我们目前不能说是硬盘驱动器还是电缆 - 但很可能是物理故障。他们最近更换了 HDD 可以忽略不计,因为他们没有用新的 HDD 更换它。

    他们说更换硬盘被认为是好的,因为

    他们将旧磁盘克隆到新磁盘上(使用过但经过测试),并确认新旧磁盘都是 100% 正常的,因为克隆时没有出现错误。

    这不是让我信服的论点。在过去的一周内,我遇到了一个硬盘故障,导致它无法写入,但它的读取性能非常好。所以“我们从旧硬盘上读取了所有数据”并没有说明旧硬盘的健康状况。“我们将所有数据都写入了一个新数据”,在我看来,关于替代品的健康状况几乎没有。如果这是他们的全部测试方法,那么他们对更换 HDD 的保证可能会被忽略。

    谷歌的著名论文清楚地表明,仅仅因为驱动器通过了smartctl健康检查,你不能知道它是健康的(只有如果它失败了,你肯定知道它有病)。

    那么,这让你何去何从?你可以确定你有问题,并且相当肯定问题出在硬件上。所以做专业的事情:猎枪电缆和驱动器。HDD 和电缆足够便宜,根本不值得您花时间(或冒着数据风险)来追踪此错误的根源。购买新电缆和新 HDD,并让您的托管公司更换电缆和驱动器。

    并且永远不会再部署没有 RAID 的服务器。
