Eu quero dizer ModemManagerpara deixar meu Tungsten E (Palm Pilot) em paz. Estou executando o Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS

Eu quero evitar ModemManagertentar qualquer coisa com /dev/ttyUSB[01]ou mesmo /dev/ttyUSB*.

Estou prestes a atualizar meu firewall (computador separado) (passando de IPCop para IPFire). Eu gostaria de usar o PXE para inicializar a atualização no firewall.

Eu dependo do sistema de firewall para DHCP, portanto, quando estiver desativado para reinstalação, ninguém obterá um endereço IP.

Acho que conheço a mágica a ser adicionada para dnsmasq.conffazer com que ele sirva DHCP, mas não vejo /etc/dnsmasq.conf. Usando locatediz:
