A opção Wifi desapareceu após a atualização, 22.04

Depois que eu acabei de executar o gerenciador de atualização, de repente minhas opções de wifi desapareceram. Aqui está o que eu passei até agora:

Anteriormente, tive um problema semelhante, que é detalhado neste tópico

Nesse caso, foi corrigido com cd backport-iwlwifi && sudo make uninstall. No entanto, isso não está funcionando dessa vez. Dá o erro:

cd backport-iwlwifi && sudo make uninstall
Generating local configuration database from kernel ...Kernel version parse failed!

Agora determinamos que o wifi funciona quando inicializado no kernel 6.5, mas falha quando inicializado no 6.8. A sugestão de @jeremy31 dá (no 6.8):
