O movimento TrackPoint neste ThinkPad X390 com Ubuntu 18.04 LTS é instável, lento e inutilizável para movimentos delicados e pequenos. EDIT: De acordo com as sugestões do @Pilot6 aqui , instalei xserver-xorg-input-synaptics-hwe-18.04

Eu removi o arquivo 40-libinput.conf
