Não quero esperar e não fazer mais nada, é possível criar uma lista negra para exim preenchida com endereços IP de mais de 10 tentativas de login em 1h?

    Parece uma tentativa de hacking mal feita. Eu vi alguns deles.

    Eu recomendaria usar fail2banpara bloquear o IP em várias falhas. Você deve verificar os padrões, pois os padrões padrão nem sempre correspondem. Ele lida com vários arquivos e vários serviços.

    O Exim tem a capacidade de limitar o tráfego. Existem duas versões e a versão mais recente foi projetada para ser usada em ACLs. Isso apenas atrasará as pessoas que tentam quebrar sua senha, mas pode incentivá-las a tentar um servidor diferente. Se você definir a taxa muito baixa, poderá causar problemas para usuários legítimos.

    Você também pode limitar a autenticação à porta de envio. Uma linha na seção de correio como esta deve exigir a criptografia TLS e a porta de envio antes que a autenticação seja oferecida.
