Não é possível definir LC_* para a localidade padrão: esse arquivo ou diretório não existe

Acabei de instalar meu Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB com Debian 12 Bookworm, fiz WiFi, SSH, etc. funcionarem como eu queria, mas muitas vezes recebo erros de localidade, como no taskselcomando:

    Considerando a última linha da minha pergunta (obrigado Chris Davies pela indicação):

    /usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: locales is not installed

    Foi fácil instalar o localespacote, o que considerei normal, mas parece que não.

    Configurar localidades foi então a parte mais fácil:

    dpkg-reconfigure locales
