Para minha surpresa, a primeira consulta é significativamente acelerada por index is_intensive_2
, mas a segunda não. Eu esperava o contrário: a 1ª consulta abrange mais de 50% da tabela, portanto, uma verificação da tabela é executada; no entanto, para a 2ª consulta, o índice seria usado.
Estou procurando uma maneira de fazer ambas as consultas rápidas, ou seja, em uma magnitude como a primeira consulta funciona agora.
(is_intensive, status_id)
é o índice ótimo. (PS: você deve removerKEY(is_intensive)
, pois é redundante.) No entanto, o Optimizer analisa as estatísticas para decidir qual índice usar e diz, aproximadamente,...Aparentemente ,

torna essa distinção clara.Você pode descobrir que o Otimizador toma a decisão errada . Isso acontece porque as estatísticas não são precisas, o algoritmo não é perfeito e diferentes blocos de índices e/ou dados podem estar no cache quando você o executa.
